5 Perfect Work-from-Home Snacks

When working from home, you are close to your personal assortment of snacks at all times. So why not make them healthy and delicious? These are 5 snacks that have kept our energy levels up throughout the workday.


Please keep in mind that these are not meant to replace meals but are meant to be additional sources of food throughout the day!


1. David's Pumpkin Seeds

Pumpkin seeds are the perfect snack throughout the day because they are easy to eat, healthy, delicious, and fill you with energy! They come in so many different flavors and spice levels and are easy to share in case you have a work-from-home buddy. This is my #1 go-to for snacking and it always gets me through the day.


2. Lindt's Dark Chocolate [70% and up]

I know dark chocolate isn't exactly a universal favorite, but this is such a great way to get a quick burst of energy while also enjoying some chocolate! Sometimes all it takes is 1 square for me to feel energized again. If you're not the biggest fan of dark chocolate, then I recommend sticking to 70%. 85% is the perfect medium and [to be honest] I don't recommend going any higher as the bitterness can get very intense! Only the brave should venture into 90% and up! Get yourself some chocolate to enjoy throughout the day.


3. Nature’s Bakery Fig Bars

Figs are delicious in any form, so why not a convenient bar form to get you through your workday? These come in different flavors and also are a great way to portion your snacks [though it can be easy to clear the box]! These bars are the perfect combo of salty, sweet, and chewy!


4. Polly-O Mozzarella Cheese Sticks

It's no secret that cheese is the answer to most of our problems. They go great with everything and are actually a great source of energy. Though I love a beautiful charcuterie board, there is just no time for that during the workday. These cheese sticks are perfectly portioned, pre-cut, and amazing!


5. Wonderful Pistachios

Pistachios are so delicious and are the perfect combo of salty and crunchy. Though you can't just eat them straight out of the bag, it's always very satisfying to take the shells off each one because they already come with an easy starting point. You get a little activity with these and then a great reward. And if somehow it's just too time-consuming, shelled pistachios are available as well!
