Today we’re going to share with you what these three steps are and exactly why they’re so important for your health and wellness practice.


Step 1: Identity


Knowing that you are a family physician or a personal trainer is all well and good, but why do you do what you do? What drew you to this field? What makes you passionate about your profession? Establishing your identity is key to setting yourself apart from your competitors. There are thousands of people entering the health and wellness field nearly every week and although there is no shortage of people in need of those services, establishing yourself as a respected professional means that more people will look to you first. The coBranding process helps you establish your identity in several ways. The first thing we ask our clients to do after signing a contract is to schedule their coaching calls with founder and creative director Rachel Miller. You get two 1-hour conversations with Rachel and members of our design team to make sure we cover every aspect of your business. This one on one conversation will give you the individualized support to get crystal clear on your business goals and target market. No matter where you are in the process, whether you’re ready to make a business plan or still trying to pick a name, we tailor the conversation to you to help tackle the big questions you have about how to move forward.


On your coaching call, you will also dive into the specifics of color, font, symbolism, and more to help you blend your personality with the aesthetic values of your ideal client. With this information, we are ready to begin building a brand that feels authentic and expresses your values while capturing the attention of your ideal client.


We’ll set up business accounts for you if you don’t have them already, create custom social media graphics, and edit your profile copy to make sure it’s in line with everything on your website. We tailor this part of the process to you, so whichever social media platforms are most impactful for what you do, we provide custom profile pictures and cover photos to keep a cohesive branded presence across all your accounts. Commonly this includes Facebook and Instagram, but can include LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter, and many other platforms of your choice. We also create your business cards and an at-a-glance brand guide based on your final logo so you can rest easy knowing that everything you put online or use in person will have the same cohesive look.


Step 2: Website


After your finalized logo is complete, we’re ready to begin working on your website! We are a proud Wix partner, and design client websites exclusively using Wix. Wix offers lots of customization and integration to efficiently streamline everything you need! Becca, our copywriter and web designer, will come onto your coaching call briefly to come up with a plan for what information needs to be easily accessible on your website - this could be anything from a brief bio or list of services to an e-store or blog. All of our websites are optimized for both desktop and mobile layouts, so that no matter how someone is viewing your site, it’s always conveying your services in the best light. Your website is essentially your public resumé and is often the first stop for anyone who may be interested in your services. This is your first impression, and it is vital that it be a strong one. With a cohesive, professionally designed website, you show the world that you are a serious professional in your own right.


Every website we design is done with exacting detail to match the logo designed in the previous step of the process. So every color and font on the website will be selected to complement the existing branding. In combination with the building of the website itself, we do extensive Search Engine Optimization research as we set up your content and copy on the website. SEO allows us to increase the chances for your website to show up higher in the search results when someone googles services you offer. So for instance, if you are a personal trainer in Manhattan, and someone in that area searches for “personal trainers,” we ideally want your website to show up on the first or second page of the results which makes it more likely that your website will be visited and a potential client gained.


While setting up your website, we are able to integrate any tools you need to run your business most efficiently, and we also have a number of tools that we use regularly that we can recommend to help solve any problems you may be having. This could be anything from appointment scheduling to events calendars! Every website we build includes a mailing list so that you can collect information from interested individuals and stay in touch with them until they’re ready to become a client. In addition, you will get a full tutorial on how to update your website content and photos as information changes, as well as how to send impactful and motivating email campaigns. This is a one on one call with Becca, who will share all the ins and outs of your brand new website as well as answer any specific questions you may have.


Step 3: Marketing


Finally, we tackle your social media presence and online marketing strategy. In this day and age, social media is unavoidable, and can actually be a very powerful marketing tool. Regular posting schedules and engaging content can help your business grow in influence and knowledge, and this gives a very valuable opportunity for people to interact with you online or leave reviews to help future clients read the value of your services.

You’ll also get another one on one training call so we can walk you through your new marketing and show you some useful tools that will make your life much easier. These tools include design programs to add your own text and photos to the custom social media templates, post scheduling tools, and stock image resources.


Throughout the entire process, you’ll have regular check-ins from our team to show you the progress and get your approval, as well as an open door to reach out with questions via phone or email at any time.
